I'm a content writer, editor and digital content producer
I am a third-year bachelor of media and communications student majoring in journalism at La Trobe University. I have experience in writing, editing, videography, podcasting, and photography as well as social media and branding.
I won the People’s Choice Award for YAJA 2019 for my piece “Puckered Lips and Selfie Sticks – Social Media is a Child’s worst enemy”. I am also a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society as well as the La Trobe Student Excellence Academy.
In terms of work experience, I’m a volunteer editor for Rabelais magazine and upstart – La Trobe’s online editorial platform. I am also a content writer for CROWD Media. Finally, I’ve also established my personal portfolio platform RAB Media.

Experience
Sub-editor
A sub-editor is required to revise content in order to prepare it for publication. Such edits include grammar edit, structural edit and copy edit. Sub editors are also allowed to contribute to the magazine by submitting feature articles.
News and feature writer
A news writer contributes to the student-run magazine by attending weekly news shifts, meetings and writing news articles every week. Alongside news shifts, staff writers were asked to contribute one feature article every three weeks for publication.
I was also given the opportunity to be Chief of Staff for six news shifts where the position required decision-making on what news was produced and published that day, completion of SEO and the production of social media content for the day's news shift.
Editor
An editor is required to approve staff writer pitches, edit staff writer feature articles, schedule publication dates, maintain upstart website, work with chief of staff, manage staff writers and report to chief editor.
Content Writer
A content writer contributes to CROWD Ink platform by writing articles about the latest trends, topics and ideas.
